R U kidding ME?

On my Lab Final I got an A
So yesterday I had a day off, which should have been nice. My house is a frickin disaster, Zack would not let me study for my Biology Lecture Final, I had a final that night, Im stressed out, and life just overall sucks at the moment.
I tried to study all day, but Zack just wasnt cooperating so I finally went in the closet and put in a Christmas Present ( Peter Pan) just so he would leave me alone so i could study a little bit. I needed 61/75 to keep my A. Not hard so I wasnt too stressed, but my tests in this class havent been very good. Ive all but .5 of the 200 or so points involving labs, worksheets, and group assignments. But have been averaging 80% on her tests... actually I got 82,82,90 on them.
The test was pretty hard, meaning there was a lot of weird questions I wasnt expecting at all. I never take a long time on tests though so I was done in 30 minutes ( first actually but I didnt turn it in until a few others did) I would have been done in half hour if I got them all right or wrong so that is no indicator of how I did.
Well I went online and checked my grade... I got 60/75...... R U FICKIN KIDDING ME? I lost my A by one point!!!! Actually by .5 of a point!!! I NEED the A. Hygiene school is too competitive to get a B. They only take 12 students if I dont have a 4.0 in the pre-reqs just set my app to the side...... Why do so many people like biology better I dont think it is eaiser than Chemistry. I got like 97% in Chemistry and that was when I was pregnant and exhausted and huge.

I was upset until I scrolled back up top of the grade page.. ( online thing thats lists your grade on every assignment) and there was this

It was a deja vu of 6th grade when Ms.Speckien gave me a B in Math 6+ when I had 89.99%. This time I won!!!

So that was my biology story.
Zackary has another viral skin infection on his forehead, neck, back and chest different than the one he had this summer. He also has spelling will be wrong impetigo. ( Remember Americas Next Top Model a couple seasons back when the really ugly Man looking model got an infection all over face its that) Zack's is just on his chin though.
Christmas is around the corner and I am looking forward to it, not for normal reasons but I will be taking my first placebo pill in the birth control pack which will be followed by my period and I will be done with pack One of Two!
And Matts insurance isnt covering the blood work I had done either... $146 and they all of sudden want proof Im not covered anywhere else? whatever.
Matt has sat. sun. mon. tues off and so do I so this will be a fun break. I also have the day after xmas off. finally I will be able to get my house clean.

Finals

So I have my lab final for Biology tomorrow and I havent looked at anything yet and its 730 at night. Lets add to the fact Im writing a blog instead of studying. At the end of a semester I am just too burnt out to care and I showed up everyday but 1 so I know Ive heard of the information. I really need an A in this class though, the hygiene program only takes 12 and only in the fall so any B I get puts someone else in front of me. I really want to be done done with school in 5 years as is I cant get into the program until Fall of 09. I have completed week 1 of 8 of birthcontrol. It went by pretty fast Im hoping this first month flies due to the holidays, the second month should fly then too because I will be looking forward to getting my period. ( I know who thought they'd ever say that) My insurance apparently doesnt cover fertility drugs at all either so lets hope this happens quick so I dont go into debt trying to get knocked up. I dont know how long they will cover the blood tests every cycle either. If they dont, they should if I really do have pcos, then dr.Wust is treating a medical condition not just infertility. Anyways I just have to pick up some stamps so I can mail out my christmas cards. And we deceided on what we were doing for Zackys Bday. A pool party and hotel stay at Grand Rios 29th and 30th come out and swim with us, let me know if you are interested and I will let you in on the details, its going to be very informal come swim for a few hours if you want.

Matthew is one of only two laborers working tomorrow at flatiron in his division, because apparently they have noticed what a hard worker he is and he was able to organize the job site which put them ahead of schedule. Way to go Matty!

A watched pot never boils...

Well, I got the results back from my blood test. The doctor was shooting for a progesterone level above 18, this would mean there was a good chance I ovulated. My progesterone level was 1. seriously a loser 1, with tomxifen, with prenatals, with folic acid, eating right, working out, and no caffeine. Dr.Wust was pretty shocked with my level so much so he asked if I took the prescription or was this a natural cycle. Hell yes I took it, later in my cycle then recommended, but I took it. I also knew that I probably didnt ovulate though because my temperature dropped then rose but then dropped again and then rose again, clear sign no chance. So a sad decision was made, since no perscription is having any effect on me ( remember the prometrium was suppose to give me a heavy period and I got nothing) he thinks I need to start fresh. Im being put on birth control for two months to reset my cycle. It is a high hormone pill that I will take for two months to make sure that second period is a solid start to a cycle, I will then take clomid for days 5 through 9 and get my blood drawn on day 21-23 again. Hopefully this means that around March I will update you with a positive test.
He also dropped a bomb on me stating he thinks I have moderate pcos. I researched symptoms below:

• infrequent menstrual periods, no menstrual periods, and/or irregular bleeding Check
• infertility (not able to get pregnant) because of not ovulating Check
• increased hair growth on the face, chest, stomach, back, thumbs, or toes—a condition called hirsutism (HER-suh-tiz-um) I dont think I have this, because my hair is black so its more noticeable anyway
• ovarian cysts ??
• acne, oily skin, or dandruff check, check, check
• weight gain or obesity, usually carrying extra weight around the waist check
• insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes nope
• high cholesterol check
• high blood pressure no
• male-pattern baldness or thinning hair no
• patches of thickened and dark brown or black skin on the neck, arms, breasts, or thighs no
• skin tags, or tiny excess flaps of skin in the armpits or neck area I DO!
• pelvic pain yes sharp pains every so often
• anxiety or depression due to appearance and/or infertility depression Im sure
• sleep apnea—excessive snoring and times when breathing stops while asleep I dont think so
